2011 NBA Draft Grades: Sacramento Hoping Jimmer Fredette Can Help Save Franchise

The Sacramento Kings are hoping the popularity of BYU star guard Jimmer Fredette will help their struggling franchise.

Fredette led the nation in scoring this season, and has great shooting range and can create his own shot very well.

The city of Sacramento almost lost the Kings to Anaheim earlier this year, but will keep the franchise for at least another season.

Fredette not only has to a be a big contributor on the court, but his popularity and performance will help sell tickets and jerseys to generate much needed revenue for the franchise.

Fredette is a great offensive player, and is an above average passer who can play both guard positions.

Grade: B+
