Roger Federer Faces Mikhail Kukushkin in First Round Wimbledon Matchup

Third seeded Roger Federer is starting his Wimbledon campaign today in London and will face Mikhail Kukushkin in the first round of the 125^th Wimbledon championship.

Federer is already a six time Wimbledon champion, and many consider him to be the favorite to win it all this year.

The one person who may be standing in Federer?s way though is No. 2 ranked Novak Djokovic.

Djokovic has made his case to be the best player in the world, at least for 2011, and he has the chance to match up with Federer in the semi-final of the men?s tournament at the All England Club.

He will be chasing Pete Sampras? record of seven Wimbledon wins this time around at the All England Club, so getting off to a good start against Kukushkin is going to be imperative.
