2011 NHL Awards: Vancouver Canucks Win NHL Best 5 Awards in Las Vegas

The Vancouver Canucks won the most awards tonight at the 2011 NHL Awards ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada. They took home a total of five awards.

Canucks general manager Mike Gillis won best NHL general manager, Daniel Sedin won the Ted Lindsay award as the players' pick for MVP, and Ryan Kesler won the Frank J. Selke Trophy as the best defensive forward.

Sedin also won the Art Ross trophy as the league's leading points man.

Canucks goalies Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider won the William M. Jennings Trophy, which is awarded to the goalie(s) who allow the fewest goals against.

Sedin and head coach Alain Vigneault were nominated for the Hart Trophy (MVP) and Jack Adams Award (coach of the year), respectively, but none of them won.
