Klitschko's Injury Still Healing, Chrisora Fight Cancelled. Is Haye Next?

Somewhere, there must be a Klitschko ON/OFF switch, which is being flicked back and forth by someone in charge. Yet again, Wladimir Klitschko (55-3-0) has called off his scheduled April bout against Dereck Chrisora (14-0-0).

Klitschko’s doctor has the following to say: “Considering the current clinical picture, it is difficult to predict a precise time of rehabilitation. The start of a training camp at this time for a fight in April would be too much of a high risk. Klitschko seemed apologetic, sending a message to his fans: “I am very sorry about cancelling the fight – especially for all fans in the already sold-out SAP arena in Mannheim.”

Something tells me Chrisora will not get to meet Klitschko in the ring anytime soon. That very same "something" is making me think that David Haye (25-1-0) is next in line.

Whether this cancellation is authentic or not, Klitschko and Haye are well into negotiations, and their proposed bout is now coming closer to fruition than ever before.
